Calvert Brown
CEO/DP
Married to Kimberly and have two girls, Kaeley Morgan (21) and Kenady Taylor (18). Both girls are attending Oklahoma State University.
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, I am a proud 1990 graduate of Colorado College . My first job out of school was playing hockey in the Hartford Whaler’s system and overseas with the Fife Flyers. An injury prematurely retired me from hockey and I went from using medical equipment to selling it for Baxter Healthcare (1995 - 1999). From there I held sales, management and director positions with Atrium Medical (’99-02), Kyphon (’02-’06), Nuvasive (’06-’09). At the end of 2009 I took all the valuable training I received from those companies and the great people I worked with and accepted the Distributor Principal responsibilities for Depuy Spine and that is when Kendra Barker and I teamed up and Align was born. Following the Depuy/ Synthes merger in 2012, the Distributor model was discontinued by Depuy and Kendra and I had to start over again. Since then, Align has been extraordinarily fortunate to have great corporate partners and outstanding customers who have allowed us to grow and build an outstanding team of orthopedic and spine consultants. Our group of professional sales people spend countless hours taking care of patient, surgeon and hospital needs every day of the year. Kendra and I are very blessed to be able to work for such a talented group of people.
Nina Johnston Bradley
Spine
Nina began her medical device career selling spinal cord stimulators for Boston Scientific in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market. After nine years there she transitioned to selling spinal implants for trauma, deformity and degenerative conditions for Nuvasive Spine and, later, Align Alternatives. Additionally, she spent a year as a Director of Market Development for Methodist Hospital System. She has focused her career around disruptive medical technology, and has extensive experience in launching new ideas and products, and building long-term sustainable relationships with hospitals, physicians, medical device companies, and ancillary partners.
Nina recently relocated to Boise, Idaho, where she is working to establish and build a market for spine and orthopedic hardware with Align Alternatives.
Nina is married and has a young son. In her free time she enjoys hiking, skiing, exploring Boise, and traveling back to Dallas for the Mexican food!!
Kyle Norris
VP of Orthopedics
Kyle is a graduate of The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Graduating with a double major in Marketing and Management while playing hockey at Iowa. Kyle has been with Align Alternatives since 2012 and has 12 years of sales experience across multiple industries and 7 years experience in orthopedic medical device sales. Kyle and his team have hand crafted the orthopedic product offering of Align Alternatives to meet the needs of our clientele. When he is not in the OR, Kyle enjoys playing hockey, golf and long runs with his wife, Jessica and Daughter, Paisley.
Korey Muller
Korey has spent the past 8 years as a certified surgical techinician with a focus on orthopedic and spine surgery at several hospitals across the Treasure Valley. She is currently working on obtaining her Certified First Assistant Certification, which she will finish in 2018. Recently, she joined the team at Align Alternatives focused in the Boise, Idaho, market where she is primarily responsible for surgical case coverage and product support. Korey brings a wide range of surgical implant experience to her new role.
Korey is married with a teenage son and lives west of Boise. She enjoys horseback riding, hunting, and camping in her spare time. She hopes to one day force Nina to go on a camping trip!
Francesca Cimino
Sales Representative
Francesca “Frankie” Cimino was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She always knew she wanted to have a career in the medical field after volunteering at Dell Children’s Medical Center during high school. After completing her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in 2014, she moved back to Austin. She has been with Align Alternatives since October 2015 as an Associate Spine Sales Representative. Frankie enjoys helping her surgeons find the right products for their patients from the wide variety Align has to offer. She loves learning about Align’s new products and teaching surgeons about them as well.
In her spare time, Frankie enjoys traveling, cooking new recipes, reading, skiing, and spending time with her family and friends. She also volunteers for Rodeo Austin and Texas Parks and Wildlife.
Justin Blacher
Originally from Wisconsin, Justin graduated with B.A. degrees in strategic communication and business management from the University of Minnesota. He has taken these skills and applied them to become a customer friendly consultant in the Austin and San Antonio markets for Align Alternatives.
Justin has worked in the medical device industry since he moved to Texas in 2013. He has experience with Orthopedics, GI, and Radiology related products. With training in each field, Justin is equipped to work with several different product lines carried by Align Alternatives. Justin has served in many capacities from customer facing roles, inventory control, and even some sales training positions throughout his time in the industry.
In 2014 and 2015 Justin was salesperson of year and turned a struggling territory into a multi-million dollar one. Everyday he takes pride in his work and will not stop until the job is done the right way. He values his customers, and values patient outcomes above all. Justin prides himself on being reliable no matter the time or day. He is gritty, competitive, and grateful to work with such a great team of customers and colleagues at Align Alternatives.
Brock Gardner
Brock Gardner is a Sales Consultant with Align Alternatives and works in the DFW region for our Orthopedic and Spine Divisions.
Brock has a tremendous amount of healthcare experience, including 15 years as a surgical technician (6 in the U.S. Army, honorably discharged in 2006). During his time as a surgical tech, he specialized in burns, orthopedic and spine surgery. Brock also hold a degree in Healthcare Administration with an area of focus on Health Management, from the University of Phoenix.
Brock and his lovely wife Arielle have been married since 2009 and have 3 beautiful children.
Candra Sagar
Candra Sagar was born and raised in Marshalltown, Iowa. Candra has always had a passion to be active. She played soccer for 15 years. After High School, she attended Marshalltown Community College studying Business Management, then later transferred to the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA where she was accepted into their business program.
Candra joined Align in 2016. She works directly with the Ortho team and also supports the Spine team.
During her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, going to live sporting events, and spending time with her family.
